Al Barsha Short Term Area Guide

Dubai's new residential area behind the Mall of the Emirates. There are flats and many villa communities in this area.

The quality of accomodation varies between good to luxurious. However, the communities are not as green and master planned as nearby villa communities of Emirate Hills and there are fewer facilities on site on offer. Do not expect to walk anywhere unless you are next to the Mall of the Emirates.  However, the prices are much lower in this area, and because of the location this represents superb value. 

There are superb restaurants, which are not outwardly visible or heavily advertised, that are to be found in the many new smaller hotels near the Mall of the Emirates.
