The communities here offer a quite life style where one can wonder outside the house for a stroll along the beautiful streets. To show Jumierah's long standing status status in Dubai, it is home to the the Burj Al Arab and the equally maginificent Madinat Jumierah amongst others. Jumierah Lakes TowersThis area is located right next to the Dubai Marina, across the Sheikh Zayed Road. It is high rise building community with man made lakes being the key feature. Buildings are generally of a very high quality. The price here is generally cheaper than the Marina due to the ongoing construction, the road diversions that go with this and the lack of community and leisure facilities that have yet to be built. This area offers excellent hence value for those seeking to live in this location (vicinity of Marina, Media City, Emirate Hills) with a compromise of the lack of onsite facilities and views of some construction sites. The established areas of Jumierah and Umm Suqueim have long been established in Dubai as the premier residential area. Foreign ownership is not allowed but they are popular for rentals from expats. Jumierah offers a very established area that has excellent services, retail and dining options throughout in little shopping areas and along the main street as opposed to large malls.
