The golf courses (Emirates Golf Course and the Montogomorie) are both championship golf courses that host tournaments. They are a must to visit, if not for a game, then for a sight seeing visit or a bite to eat at the Montgomery Golf Course in the wonderful surrounds.
Restaurants
The community centre in the Greens has a good Lebanese restaurants and very good boutique coffee shops. It also has fast food venues. Nearby the community centre are further mid-budget restaurants such as the ever popular Nandos. The Colin Montgomerie club house has an excellent all day English break fast.
Good for
People who don't like being in and around tall buildings and prefer/need a villa community. You can have your own garden and places to walk around in the community (rare in Dubai). Good for families with children and pets.
Not good for
Being able to walk to restaurants and bars. The exception to this are the flats which are a few minutes walk to the some restaurants. Generally, taxis or rental cars are the way to go here.
