Behind the scenes, the Just Rentals Dubai team has been working tirelessly at enhancing and revamping our web portal and we are pleased to introduce some of the new features and design here.

We thought it was about time to undergo a design re-vamp and bring our rather old-fashioned looking template fully up-to-date.

We hope you like our new look and feel. We have spent a lot of time on making sure our new site offers the most comprehensive source of information for renting in Dubai.

New Logo, New Design

Our new logo and "search genie" is part of our new brand and will feature on our forthcoming ad campaigns in Concierge Magazine and local newspapers. The same identifiable Just Rentals Dubai orange and green colours have been kept, however everything else has changed!

We've also completely re-vamped our website design with focus strongly placed on our property search and filtering system. It is now easier than ever before to find the right property on our site.

On all our pages the top banner has two ways to search for properties. The auto-suggest search bar which shows a selection of possible searches as soon as the user starts typing and the "Refine your Search" bar which allows a further level of refining your search:

Discussion Forums

To encourage more user interaction and discussion we have added some community features to enable people to share views, opinions and experiences of all aspects related to renting, living and working in Dubai. Our forums are open to everyone to view and post comments on the following categories:

• Dubai Rental Locations
• Recreation in Dubai
• Utilities and Bills
• Dubai Rental Procedure
• General Dubai chat

Helpdesk

Our new helpdesk is your first port of call for any technical questions or if you need any help regarding posting properties on our site. If you find any errors on our site we also would be grateful for visitors to let us know by raising a ticket using our helpdesk.

In addition to raising tickets, users can browse our knowledgebase for further information on the most commonly asked questions regarding using our site.

User login and registration system

To make it even easier for users to login to Just Rentals Dubai we have introduced Facebook connect to our site. This means that should users not wish to create a separate login account for Just Rentals, they can now login by simply using their pre-existing Facebook account.

Simply click on the Facebook connect logo at the top of the page to login. If you are already logged into Facebook on another tab or window, then you will be logged in automatically! By logging in to Just Rentals Dubai users can post comments on our forums, save property searches for future return visits and list properties on our portal.

If users do now wish to use their Facebook accounts, they can easily create an account by clicking on the Register button. 

New Members Area and Property Manager Console

When logged in, users will now see a new Members Area control bar which lists the different options available to logged in users:

The options are pretty self-explanatory. The most important link for people looking to advertise a property is the My Listings option. This is where you can upload a property, manage existing properties and view stats for your listings.

For our registered agents and advertisers, we have completely revamped our property manager login console which now has advanced statistics and information about your listings. If you have an agent account with us you now have access to a wealth of stats about your listings on Just Rentals Dubai.

Save your searches, get property alerts, shortlist properties.

For logged in users, we have introduced two new property search related features:

1. Save your Search: This allows users to save their searches so they can return at a later time and do the same property search again.
2. Get Property Alerts: Based on the search you have just performed (e.g 1-bed apartments in Dubai Marina less than AED 100,000 per year) users can now request property email alerts from Just Rentals when any new properties that match their search criteria are added to the site.

The two buttons for these features appear at the top of every property search results page. Simply make sure you are logged in and click on the relevant button!

We have also enhanced our Shortlist functionality which allows for users to select multiple properties they are interested in and to send one enquiry for each of the properties. Simply click on "shortlist", then view my shortlist to send out the enquiries.

Tweet This and Add to Facebook

For each property listing users can now share the details of the listing not only by email and sending PDF documents, but also through Twitter and Facebook. Click on the Twitter icon to share the property listing with your Twitter followers or click on the Facebook icon to post the property to your Facebook wall.
